This club has been going since October 2019 at the St.Margarets Road site and has benefited from grants from Ageing Better and Hodge Hill Neighbourhood Network Scheme for two of its 5 years.
Currently a core of members keep it going through getting together at least twice a week throughout the year. We take decisions on what to plant and share out harvests during the growing season
The club is an ideal starting point for people who haven’t had an allotment in the past – or in fact anyone who would like to learn gardening skills in company. So new members are welcome, especially people who don’t have the time, energy or good enough health to take on a whole plot on their own or want to ‘try before they buy’.
